Commercial Banking
The firm represents clients before the Federal Reserve Board, primarily in matters involving the Bank Holding Company Act. The current consolidation of the financial services industry, in which the firm is integrally involved through its merger & acquisitions practice, requires the frequent representatino of clients before the various federal regulatory agencies having jurisdiction over commercial banks and their holding companies. The firm also represents clients in their conversion from a thrift institution into a commercial bank and the formation of bank holding companies. |
